Power Tong - Torque Sensing Loadcells
  
 

The ML700 and ML1800 tension link loadcells are ideally suited for any application that involves lifting, pulling, winching or torque measurement. These loadcells are available in capacities ranging from 10,000 pounds to over 400,000 pounds. They are temperature compensated and completely environmentally protected. Be assured of accurate, consistent and reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +57°C.

These loadcells can be used to measure joint torque for drill collars, drill pipe, or casing. We will install your choice of connectors.

  
 

Wireless Solutions:

This cell can be used for wireless applications. A small transciever can be mounted on the side to send data to a wireless handheld weight indicator. This indicator can then be connected to a computer or PLC using the standard RS-232 data protocol. See our wireless solutions web page for typical scenarios.

As with all of our loadcells, converter chips can be added for a nominal cost that convert the mV/V signal into a 4-20mA current loop signal.
