Another of our more popular custom force sensor is the Pancake loadcell. (named for it's appearance) This cell can work under tension or compression and also has a wide range of capacities. Using a shear type design, this cell is extremely accurate. The outer ring is rigid mounted and the inner sleve, which is threaded, accepts the load in either direction. This cell is well sealed to keep the elements out and ensure that it will work trouble free.

Typical Applications Include:

• Monitor tubing weight and insertion force
• Electronic replacement for hydraulic loadcells
• Monitor footpad loads of injector head jackstands

Output Signal Options:

Massload has developed a number of output signals. Standard loadcells use mV/V outputs (4 wire). We also offer 4-20mA current loop outputs (2 wire), and 0-10V outputs. Any of these signals is industry standard. You can pick the type you prefer for your application.
